What did we do before smartphones?
I am making a mountain of scotch pancakes (plain, bear shaped, cheese (forgot to put in jalapenos this time *sigh*)
plus sweet ones. Whilst waiting on the pancakes to bu… I mean cook, I have been posting photos to my crochet page and now writing this.
I have a Sony Xperia Arc S, pretty good phone except, it is sooo slow and is now freezing every now and again. My desired phone Xperia Z will have to wait until we are back on our feet again. Unless Sony would like me to review one for them 😉
So, apart from standing in the kitchen for hours today, since the holidays began last week we have been having quality family time.
I created my logo for my crochet page, the wee shamrock painted their own masterpieces…
Tulip and shamrock 1 have been building a mini mechano glider and we have played family games, Hungry Hippo being the all time favourite.
Yesterday, we all went to the estuary of Sligo. The tide had just gone out so was still a bit squelchy ( if you have read “We are going on a bear hunt” you will know what I mean).
Here are the photos of the adventure….
I love the panoramic option on the Xperia Arc.
Benbulben in the background. (sure we saw this in the first series of Game of Thrones.
Me and my doggy. Fleur de Lys 1 is always following shamrock 1 on our adventures.
This is how close Fleur de Lys 2 stands beside me
The kids have a great eye for finding fossils now.
Crab grabbing hold of the phone cover (from my husband’s far more superior Xperia ;))
On the way back we noticed what looked like steps
I think this used to be an old swimming pool and bathing area. Shame, such a beautiful spot left to ruin.
The view is breathtaking!
